Tasu Review February 2019

Tasu Self-Care Wellness box is a monthly box filled with handmade and curated product from Tasu. All the products focus on self-care and will help you maintain a balanced lifestyle, mentally and physically.

Every month, they provide you with items such as candles, healthy snacks, yoga products, creams, jewels and teas and you get 4 to 6 products.

The monthly box is $37.99 in Canada and $28.49 for the residents of the United States.
You will be charged an additional $7.99 for shipping for both country.

The products came well packed in a small box, filled with care. The Tasu box has such a wonderful design. You have “your mindful package has arrived” message at the top and when you open it, you see “TASU – Self care comes first”.

Tasu sends such a nice vibe, just looking at the box, I feel more relaxed (but also excited to see what wonderful products I am going to find!). I was interested in this box since they started a few months ago, and it is the second box they kindly sent me to review.

Let me show you what I received in the February Tasu box.

Nourish Shampoo with Coconut

A shampoo made without any additive mica or colours to nourish hair without weighing it down or making it greasy.

Nourish Conditioner with Coconut

A beautiful blend of almond oil, apricot oil and real coconut water. Use it on ends to avoid them drying out.

I have long straight hair, and I am a bit picky when it comes to shampoo and conditioner. The ones created by Tasu were perfect for me. I liked the smell and how the shampoo created enough foam to disperse it easily from my scalp to the ends. 1 tablespoon of product was enough.

I used the same quantity of conditioner on the length of my hair and left it for 2-3 minutes. The result? My hair where super soft and easy to brush. The conditioner is very nourishing, so a little goes a long way (I might use a little less next time).

Pink Clay Mask

A mask made with real rose petals and turmeric, it will not only moisturize but also heal, detoxify skin as well with clays in this mask. A wonderful mask to indulge in self care.

The rose clay mask is very effective. The smell is calming and not overpowering. I tested it out and it was perfect for my sensitive skin. It really did a good job by purifying my skin and left it clean and smooth. No redness or itchiness, just a fresh feeling.

Konjac Sponge

This Konjac sponge cleans your face and removes all impurities while gently exfoliating your skin. This 100% natural and biodegrade sponge is made from vegetable fibers.

Konjac sponges are made from the dried and ground root of the konjac, a plant native to Asia. It is super light and hard to the touch, but after letting it soak for a few minutes, it really becomes like a sponge. I have read only good things about this exfoliating method, and I am glad I received one.

Remixed Snacks Bean Bark

A healthy snack is good addition to this nice box. It is a 64% dark chocolate bark with dehydrated beans and fruit. I received this bar in another subscription box and was happy to get it again. It is a treat you can eat without guilt. I shared some with my four year old boy, and he liked it a lot too (I have not told him there are beans in it… but he does not need to know).

Tasu Review February 2019 – Final Thoughts

The February Tasu box was well thought and well-timed. Even with a lot of cream and care, my skin and hair needed a little boost after those harsh cold months and Tasu’s natural products were perfect. Nourishing and comforting to use (my hair still smells so nice!), I have welcomed the shampoo, conditioner, clay mask and konjac sponge into my daily routine with pleasure.
