Each product is carefully vetted with the intent to create a meaningful self-care experience, from unboxing to application. They kindly sent us this box for review.

TokiBox is a wonderful little subscription. This will be my third time reviewing it. The first time being the end of last year and then again last month. It’s a great way to discover vegan snacks + clean beauty brands. And I love that they work with small businesses. It’s a box I truly look forward to receiving.

Subscription Details

When you sign up for a TokiBox subscription you have a few options to choose from – monthly subscription, 3-month subscription or a 6-month subscription.

Each TokiBox contains 6-8 items, from travel size to full size. Products are 100% Cruelty-free & Vegan. Products include: healthy snacks, superfoods and clean beauty.

Here’s a closer look at the items I received in the May TokiBox…..

Cashew Butter Bar by Fine & Raw

From Brooklyn artist Daniels S, they’re committed to working with farmers directly and paying better than Fair Trade wages and educating them about organic farming. They say above all is that you should fall in love with their chocolate.

This is extremely exciting. I try to limit my chocolate intake and am always looking for alternatives. I happen to be a huge fan of casher butter and am excited to see it in a chocolate bar format. They say that fans of milk chocolate, cashews, and deliciousness will find themselves obsessed and unable to stop eating this bar.

Floral Bath Salts by Country Muffin

Handmade by Sarah and her family in NYC, she has some of the highest standards we’ve seen for cruelty-free and local ingredients that come straight from nature.

It’s really nice to have bath products on hand as you never know when the mood will strike for a little me-time. I like that this particular salt blend includes rose petals. One of my favorite ingredients when it comes to skincare.

Tin Candle by Candle Cottage

From the Great Smokey Mountains, TN – this family run candle company uses their own blend of soy wax to deliver maximum scent throw and custom 2 wick system for an even candle burn.

Can I just say how nice it is to see a candle company who pays attention to details like “even candle burn”. It’s frustrating when you burn a candle and only half of the wax melts.

Pocket Latte by Pocket Latte

Featured by Kickstarted as a ‘favorite project”, 1 bar = 1 coffee serving. Picture an energy bar made from real coffee, that actually gives you a boost…..aka Ready-To-Eat Coffee.

What a great little snack to keep in your purse or gym bag. Even though I’m trying to limit my coffee intake I certainly appreciate the idea behind this little bar.

Balm Shell by Flower Mill

This month’s uber-luxe item for you lucky TokiBox people…… This all-in-one cleanser and makeup remover deep cleans pores without stripping or drying the skin. All based on flower oils.

This will be a nice addition to my skincare routine. The balm melts into your skin, removing makeup, excess oil and other impurities left over from your busy day. You simply massage onto dry face, work it in until you see your makeup being removed and then wipe off with a warm, damp cloth.

Pineapple Snack Bar by Blake’s Seed Based

Blake had nut allergies so set out to create a bar that was totally based on seeds and the surprising benefits of seeds vs nuts!

I have received this brand once before and was very impressed with the idea behind it. All seeds and no nuts. This is a great idea, especially when it comes to lunch boxes or those of us with nut sensitivities.

Superfood Snack Bar by The Daily Bar

This wonderful little bar wasn’t on the product card so I am thinking it is a bonus item?? I received salted caramel, which sounds amazing. It is organic, raw, handmade, all natural, gluten-free, dairy-free, grain-free and preservative-free. I am super excited about this one!

TokiBox Review May 2019 – Final Thoughts

Another lovely box from TokiBox. I’ve come to appreciate the simplicity and consistency of this subscription. It’s not too over the top. We receive a pretty box with 6-8 cruelty-free and vegan items each month. We receive a nice mixture of snacks, skincare and lifestyle items. I am very excited about the snacks we received this month, specifically the cashew bar. I have a feeling I will be purchasing more of those in the near future. I discovered some new brands and will get use out of all the items. What more can a girl ask for?!
