Here’s a closer look at the items I received this month….

April Theme – Easter Surprise

Included in every TokyoTreat box is a mini magazine that gives you in-depth details of each treat in the box, descriptions, upcoming news, and mini activities!

Pepsi J-Cola Sakura (Premium)

Though the Fanta Yogurt Banana Mix is mentioned in the booklet, this month’s drink is actually the new limited edition Pepsi J-Cola Sakura! This pretty pink hued soda tastes very light and refreshing with a hint of sweet and floral cherry blossom. It’s a very unique flavor that’s delicious!

Easter Banana Kit-Kat (Premium)

I’m always excited to taste new Kit-Kat flavors and this month features banana in an adorable Easter themed design. Each bag comes with 12 individually wrapped candies with one in a special golden wrapper.

Calbee Garlic Edamame Potato Chips (Premium)

The Calbee Garlic Edamame Potato Chips are super crunchy baked chips packed with tons of flavor. The edamame gives the chips a slightly sweet touch, while the garlic adds a savory base. The two flavors complemented each other so well and the chips were gone within minutes!

Tohato Caramel Corn Tiramisu (Premium)

These corn puff snacks are made with sweet cocoa powder, tiramisu flavors, and coffee! The texture is very light and airy, and the coffee is surprisingly very prominent (and tasty)!

Corn Potage Crisps (Premium)

OMG – I’m obsessed with anything corn potage flavored and these crisps did not disappoint! They’re packed full of sweet and creamy corn flavor that makes it taste just like the real thing.

Dragon Bar Umaibo

I didn’t think I’d ever meet an Umaibo flavor I didn’t love, but this is it unfortunately! The Dragon Bar flavor is very unique and a mix between sweet, savory, and sorta fruity! I think the flavor contains ginger ale, but I didn’t like it one bit (and I LOVE drinking ginger ale).

Rice Puff Bar

The Rice Puff Bar is a snack bar made up of crispy rice puffs with a sweet soy sauce flavor. This was very lightweight in texture and super tasty!

Good Moist Chocolate

The Good Moist Chocolate is my favorite snack this month! These come in circular and heart shaped puffs that are infused with a semi-sweet chocolate. It’s literally melt-in-your-mouth goodness!

Okin Milk Coffee Crisps

These mini crispy puffs are flavored with delicious milk coffee. The texture is very airy and easy to enjoy handfuls at a time!

Sherbet Cola Candy Stick (Left)

The Sherbet Cola Candy Stick is a fun dipping lollipop and powder treat! The lollipop is cola flavored, while the dipping powder is a bubbly, tangy sherbet.

Fujiya Anpanman Mini Chocolate Lollipop (Middle)

Shaped like the popular characters from Anpanman, this mini lollipop features both chocolate and strawberry flavors.

Furuta Egg Chocolate (Right)

The Furuta Egg Chocolate comes in an Easter egg packaging with a cool sliding door for easy access. Plus, it’s great to bring on the go! These chocolates are very reminiscent of M&M’s in both appearance and taste.

Calbee Kappa Shrimp Share Pack

The share pack this month is the Calbee Kappa Shrimp 4 pack. These taste a lot like Calbee’s original shrimp snacks, which feature a savory shrimp flavor and a crispy, crunchy texture. It’s hard for me to notice any differences between the two!

Collis Chocolate Banana Soft Candy DIY Kit

This month’s DIY Kit is the Collis Chocolate Banana Soft Candy Kit. This DIY kit comes with banana flavored soft candies, which can be dipped in chocolate followed by colorful sprinkles!

TokyoTreat Review April 2019 – Final Thoughts

April’s TokyoTreat box was filled with many unique flavors and limited edition treats! A lot of the items were a hit or miss for me, but overall, I loved trying out all the new snacks and flavors, especially all of the chocolate/coffee flavored treats. My favorite items this month include the Good Moist Chocolate, Calbee Garlic Edamame Potato Chips, and Corn Potage Crisps!
