If Asian snacks are your jam look no further!  TokyoTreat impresses us every month!  The sheer amount of items in this box alone are impressive, but every month you will receive new items, favourite regulars and even the odd bonus item.  The box size also changes each month, which always impresses me for some reason.  Maybe it’s because it’s a way to see that TokyoTreat caters to its snacks every month.

Let’s take a look at the November box….

Calbee Osatsu Snack

A seasonal snack from Calbee, Osatsu fully uses a mix of steamed and baked Anno sweet potatoes for the delicious flavour.  Osatsu snack is only available during the cold seasons every year and it just celebrated it’s 35th anniversary last year!

Super Light Rice Crackers

this month’s wagashi uses famed Niigata white rice for a super light and airy textured rice cracker that literally melts in your mouth.  The tasty crackers get their flavour from mixture of dashi soy sauce and ginger for zesty twist.

Choco Flakes Crisp Balls – Kinako

Choco Flakes is a cereal snack that’s coated in milk chocolate.  Their crisp balls series is a less messy ball shaped variety and the Autumn edition comes in a kinako (roasted soy flour) flavour which adds a layer of nuttiness to the already tasty snack.

Pocky Double Fromage

A decadent Pocky that has 3.2x more chocolate than the standard kind, these have layers of whipped and milk chocolate for the perfect texture.  This time in a “formage” flavour that uses cocoa biscuits and different types of cheese for an elegant twist.

Sapporo Multi-Veggie Sticks

TokyoTreat November 2017 – Final Thoughts

Yup, exceeded expectations again.  This box is just so packed!  Every time I review it I wonder how I will get all of the items back inside the box, and somehow they all fit.  I’m a savoury snacker for sure, and I loved the amount of savoury items provided in this month’s box.  There were a few items I may not venture to try, such as the squid item, but to each their own!  If you aren’t a subscriber to TokyoTreat you are also missing out on the chance to be entered into a lot of great draws!  Each subscriber is given a little product guide that also offers the chance to be entered into Fantasy Contests and Lucky Treat Packages!  TokyoTreat really knows how to take care of their people.
