VanCity Box Review January 2017
Vancity Box is a Canadian lifestyle subscription box that sends their subscribers a box filled with fresh new finds from around Vancouver city. A craft fair and a farmer’s market in a box! They kindly sent me this box for review.
I’m back to a regular review schedule with VanCity Box and that makes me very happy. They had a little hiccup in their subscription service, but it appears as though they are back on track. Their December box was one of the better ones I’ve received from them in the last few month’s and the January box appears to be even better than the December box.
Here’s a look at the items we received this month:
Zen Tea Life Seven Treasures
Green and white teas blend perfectly in this special offering along with sweet strawberry and pineapple pieces, making this a perfectly pleasant fruity and refreshing cup of tea. A truly delicious dessert green tea!
I wish I could describe in words how good this smells. Sweet, and fruity and amazing. So far things are looking good.
This is such a simple item, but a lovely item at the same time. I absolutely adore lavender. I find it so calming and peaceful. This will be going in one of my drawers ASAP.
Beth & Olivia Owl Guest Soap
A beautifully detailed owl soap for your guests, gift giving, or just for treating yourself.
I am very familiar with Beth & Olivia products. I have received a few of their products before, and so far I have loved them all. This little owl soap smells divine. I will have to get out one of my pretty soap trays and put this in the guest bathroom.
Beth & Olivia Earl Grey Lip Butter
Earl grey lovers will enjoy this fresh and uplifting scent of bergamot infused in a .45g twist up tube. Made with natural ingredients to leave your lips soft and smooth. There are no artificial flavors or sweeteners in our lip butters.
I already have one of these lovely little lip butters, but I’m very happy to have another one. Their lip butter formula definitely works. It leaves my lips very soft.
Modus Coffee – Dom
The Dom keeps with the basics for your approachable cup of coffee. Expect flavours of chocolates, cacao, raw sweetness and dark fruits.
It’s been a few months since I receive a full-size bag off coffee beans in one of my subscription boxes. I’m actually quite excited about it. I feel like I need a break from my k-cups. I will be trying this tomorrow morning.
VanCity Box Review January 2017 – Final Thoughts
This is what I like to see from VanCity Box!! A fun mixture of items from some really great companies. I am also VERY excited to see that they added some pretty packaging to the box this month. They are definitely headed in the right direction. I’m predicting that we will see some great boxes from VanCity this year. If they continue to curate boxes similar to this month’s box I would be a happy girl.
