Vegan Cuts Snack Box Review April 2017

Vegan Cuts Snack Box is the easiest way to discover healthy vegan snacks without breaking your budget. From chips to cookies and sodas to teas, each month they will send 10 or more vegan goodies straight to your door. They kindly sent us this box for review.

A box full of vegan-friendly goodies! Honestly, it doesn’t get much better than that. When I first became vegan (a long time ago) it was extremely difficult to find snacks, I would have given anything for a subscription like Vegan Cuts back then. I love this box. It’s so much fun discovering new snacks every month…..I get so darn excited about it.

Here’s a look at the goodies we received in our April box:

Rhythm Superfoods Kale Chips

Our kale chips are made by tossing fresh, organic kale with one of our hand-crafted dressings, which we create from a perfect blend of organic seeds, vegetable powders, juices, herbs and spices. Our kale chips are never fried — instead, they are gently dehydrated under low heat.

It’s pretty exciting when you find vegan-friendly Cool Ranch snacks. It’s a chip flavour I missed…..until now. Plus, kale chips are amazing! They are a really great crunchy snack when you are craving salty chips.

Laiki Gluten Free Crackers

Laiki Red Rice Crackers are 100 percent wholegrain, vegan, gluten-free, nonGMO and delicious. Snack packs are just 100 calories making them perfect for an afternoon snack, school lunch, or satisfying crunch on the trail.

I’ve only had these a couple of times, but I remember really liking them. They literally contain 3 ingredients – rice, oil, salt.

Yumbutter Espresso Peanut Butter

100% organic USA grown Valencia peanuts, fair trade coffee, and organic cocoa set the foundation for pure deliciousness, and long-lasting balanced energy. Vegan, non–GMO, gluten free, dairy free, Kosher and fair trade, this chocolate espresso peanut butter potion is crafted for optimal mind-body enjoyment.

Have I told you how much I LOVE peanut butter? I eat it almost every day. I put it on rice cakes in the morning and apples in the afternoon. This one is made with cocoa, vanilla, and cinnamon and sounds like the best peanut butter ever!! The packaging is convenient enough to take anywhere……bonus points for that!

Green Plate Foods Cranberry Almond Cookie

We took some of our favorite ingredients to combine them into a delicious and nutritious cookie:  This is one smart cookie packing 6 grams of vegan plant based protein.  Perfect smart snack for any time of day! VEGAN + Certified Gluten Free.

Oh my goodness! This cookie is made with pea protein. You don’t even know how exciting that is. I get tired of seeing whey protein as the main ingredient in protein snacks. It’s so nice to see companies using plant-based proteins instead.

Yumearth Sour Twists

These little sour candies are vegan and gluten-free. Actually, almost all of their products are free from the top-8 allergens. This is the perfect little snack size bag to keep in my purse.

Salad Power Drinkable Salad

SaladPower is different because we always put our veggie superfood blend first. This awesome superfood blend consists of Kale, Carrot, Spinach, Celery, Cucumber, Tomato and Bell Pepper.

I drink green juice on a regular basis, every day if I can. But sometimes I am too lazy to pull out the juicer. This will be perfect for my lazy days, and road trips. I load up on green juice for road trips…’s a must! I particularly love this blend because it is all veggies.

Lundberg Sriracha Chips

The sweet spice of sriracha sauce with the delicious crunch of brown rice. Lundberg® Sriracha Rice Chips™ are great right out of the bag or with your favorite dip or salsa. Use them to make nachos or to add flavor and crunch to soups, salads and casseroles, or whatever you may dream up in the kitchen!

I have a bag of Lundberg Chips in the panty at all times. I thought I had tried all of their flavours but this is a new one for me.

Kiwami Greens

Aojiru (/ah-oh-ji-ru/) is a traditional Japanese greens blend known for its superior nutritional properties. Harvested from the nutrient-dense soil of the southern islands of Japan, we combine Young Barley leaves and Ashitaba greens with fine Matcha and Sencha in the way of “KIWAMI” – masterfully crafted. Our proprietary blend is a smooth, rich mixture of greens created to complement your daily intake of vegetables with the utmost convenience.

This is very cool! I’ve never heard of Kiwami before. This powder is full of green goodness. Simply open the packet and add the powder to approximately 5 fluid ounces of water or milk. You can even try adding Kiwami Greens to your favorite juice, smoothie, yogurt, protein shake, or favorite recipe.

Sensible Foods Roasted Edamame

Savory and salty mix together in this wholesome East Asian treat. Our edamame is lightly tossed with sea salt, and each pouch packs 7g of protein with just 80 calories. Delicious meets nutritious in our roasted edamame bag, making for a wholesome post-workout dose of protein. Try it atop your favorite salads!

I love any sort of crunchy snack, especially when a snack size portion has 7 grams of protein.

Beanitos Tortilla Chips

Every Beanitos snack is a lean bean PROTEIN machine, packed with rich, delicious flavor and amazing wholesome goodies like FIBER and ANTIOXIDANTS. With all this tasty goodness, it may be hard to chew with such a big smile.

Beanitos are my favourite. I am obsessed with the BBQ and Garden Salsa flavours. If you haven’t tried these I highly recommend you do.

Bakery On Main Oatmeal

Who says you can’t have pie for breakfast? Start your day with this premium blend of certified gluten free oats, flax, chia seeds, and the two ancient grains, quinoa and amaranth enhanced with the delicious taste of apple that gives you 33g of whole grains per 50g serving.

Apple Pie Oatmeal! How good does that sound!

Organic Living Superfoods Life’s Nuts

Let’s be honest – who doesn’t love the taste and satisfaction from eating a slice of pizza? It may be a staple in almost every American’s diet but unfortunately though, pizza isn’t EXACTLY the healthiest thing to be eating on a regular basis.  That’s why we created these PIZZA flavored almonds!  Made with the perfect blend of pizza seasonings, these almonds make a delicious (and healthy) snack.  PLUS, they’re naturally gluten-free and dairy-free too.

Ummm… invention ever!! I am forever complaining about the fact that I can’t eat pizza anymore. Sometimes I will sneak it in as a treat, but vegans really aren’t supposed to eat melted cheese. It should come as no surprise that I am extremely excited about these pizza almonds. Maybe they will curb the craving.

Hippeas Chickpea Puffs

Light and crunchy with a serious punch of protein and fiber, HIPPEAS are low-calorie, certified organic, certified gluten-free, vegan, kosher and non-GMO. With 3 grams of fiber and 4 grams of protein per single-serve, 1-ounce bag, HIPPEAS are the new go-to snack choice for consumers who demand tasty snacks made with high-quality ingredients.

I LOVE that Vegan Cuts is introducing me to so many new snacks. I’ve never heard of these before, and they sound amazing. I had to jump on their website and discovered that they have a few different flavours to choose from…….they all sound good.

Vegan Cuts Snack Box Review April 2017 – Final Thoughts

It’s official! I am obsessed with Vegan Cuts Snack Box!! I am blown away by the April Box. They packed it full of vegan snack goodness. I am so excited about everything they included that I want to call it an early day, turn on Netflix and eat my way through the box. This month’s snack mixture is perfect! I like that we received a good number of salty snacks. Those are the ones I like to have on hand. I am also pretty excited about the Yumbutter, can I have a lifetime supply of that stuff? Vegan Cuts Snack Box is definitely my new favourite. I don’t know how I survived without it in my life.
