Vegan Cuts Snack Box Review March 2017

Vegan Cuts Snack Box is the easiest way to discover healthy vegan snacks without breaking your budget. From chips to cookies and sodas to teas, each month they will send 10 or more vegan goodies straight to your door. They kindly sent us this box for review.

Last month was my first time reviewing Vegan Cuts Snack Box since I start AYOB more than 4 years ago. And let me tell you, I have been missing out! This box is amazing! Coming in at $22.95 per month, Vegan Cuts Snack box is a Vegan’s dream. I absolutely LOVE to discover Vegan friendly snacks, and the February Snack Box definitely introduced me to some new ones.

Good to Know:

  • From chips to cookies and sodas to teas, each month you receive 10 or more vegan goodies straight to your door.
  • As you must know, just because it’s vegan, doesn’t mean it’s healthy. Vegan Cuts knows their customers like a mix of healthy snacks and treaty snacks so they try to create a balanced mix and include healthy indulgences.

Here’s a look at the yummy snacks included in my March Vegan Cuts Snack Box:

Vegan Rob’s Brand Cauliflower Puffs

Made with simple organic and non-GMO ingredients to give you the best nutrition when you snack, these delicious puffs combine real cauliflower powder with the perfect balance of spices for a treat that’s addicting and good for you!  To make this snack even more unique, each serving contains a dose of vegan probiotics to help aid in digestion and proper gut health – something not normally found in snack foods, especially not ones this tasty.

Vegan Rob’s is my favourite discovery of 2017! I am obsessing over their crunchy snacks. Last month we received their Tumeric Chips and they were SO good. Now I get to sample their Cauliflower Puffs and I couldn’t be more excited. I need to find out where I can purchase this brand in store, because ALL of their products sound amazing!

Dream Water Sleep Powder in “Snoozeberry”

With our drug free, proprietary SleepStat Natural Blend of GABA, Melatonin, and 5-HTP, Dream Water is a great alternative to prescription pills and over-the-counter drugs.

I don’t really have a need for sleep products but I like that they included this. It adds variety to the box.

Choice Organic Teas

I have been drinking tea non-stop the last few weeks, so I am extremely happy to try out a new brand. I received Hibiscus Heart and Simply Detox.

Pacific Coconut Non-Dairy Beverage

Pacific Foods Organic Coconut Beverage takes the natural, refreshing taste of organic coconut and adds just a hint of vanilla. As an alternative to dairy, coconut is a natural source of vitamin D and vitamin B12 as well as medium chain fatty acids.

I have coconut milk in the fridge at all times. I use it in my coffee, smoothies, soups, you name it. I’m particularly excited about this one because it has 0 grams of sugar.

Nature’s Bakery Strawberry Fig Bar

Whatever we put into our baked goods you are going to get out of them. So, admittedly, we are a little picky about the quality of our ingredients. And we make darned sure that they are ingredients you can pronounce – proof of our unwavering devotion to creating snacks that are delicious, perfect for on-the-go, and crafted with thoughtful ingredients. It’s just in our nature. Fig bars are moist, soft whole wheat cake bars with a sweet fig filling and makes a great on-the-go-breakfast.

I am very familiar with this brand because I have received these bars quite a few times in the past. They are made with cane sugar syrup and brown rice syrup so I use these as more of a treat than a snack bar. They are perfect for road trips and as an emergency snack.

Tasty Brand Organic Fruit Snacks

This is another snack I use as a treat. I try to stay away from candy and will snack on these instead. They are made with real fruit juice.

Red Plate Foods “Free From” Vegan Granola

Golden toasted oats, lightly sweetened and packing a cinnamon and ginger kick!  Made with allergy friendly, GMO Free ingredients you can pronounce. Sprinkle on your favorite yogurt or ice cream alternative, add a splash of milk or enjoy as a crunchy snack.

I LOVE granola! It’s one of those snacks that is comforting. Kind of like a good bowl of cereal or toast and peanut butter. I like to sprinkle it on my smoothie bowls……so good!

I Heart Keenwah Chocolate Puffs

Our chocolate peanut butter quinoa puffs are a new spin on chocolate-covered snacks. Each puff is enrobed in indulgent dark chocolate and creamy peanut butter for a perfectly balanced bite. Heart yourself with a handful.

Now this is why I love Vegan Cuts so darn much! They introduce me to amazing snacks that I never would have found on my own. This is exactly the kind of treat I miss since becoming Vegan, and with Easter coming up I was starting to feel sorry for myself because I would be missing out on all the fun Easter chocolate. These chocolate puffs sound amazing and make me think of the Easter malt balls I use to love so much!

Pearls “Olives to Go” Black Pitted Large California Ripe Olives

I think this is one of my favourites this month. I don’t know who came up with the idea of Olive to Go, but it is genius. I absolutely love olives and love the fact that I can take them with me in my purse. I’d rather have these as an “emergency” snack than a granola bar.

Tru Roots Ancient Grain Pasta

TruRoots combines ancient grains in this unique, gluten-free pasta. The special combination of Organic quinoa, amaranth, and brown rice keeps firm “al dente” texture after cooking, while adding a delicious nutritious boost to your favorite pasta dishes.

This is exciting! The BF is Italian so needless to say we eat a lot of pasta around here. I make spaghetti on a regular basis. He’s pretty traditional when it comes to his pasta so he may not enjoy this but I certainly will. I will top it with my vegan lentil pasta sauce.

Vicia Almond Noir Bar

The VICIA Energy Bar is an all natural, whole food nutrition bar made with all vegan, gluten free, soy free, and non-GMO ingredients. We do not use any artificial sweeteners or preservatives and no unnecessary junk or filler that you can’t pronounce. Every ingredient was chosen for a quality purpose!

Ohhh….this is interesting. I’ve never heard of this brand before. The bar is made with dates, pea protein, almonds and cashews, among other things.

Fawen Drinkable Soup in Sweet Potato and Red Lentil

Naturally high in vitamin A, and a good source of fiber, potassium, Vitamin C, and manganese, this milk shake-like treat will satisfy your hunger without weighing you down! Sweet potato and warming cinnamon come together in this rich, delicious flavor.

This is probably my second favourite item in the box. I am super excited about this one. I am constantly looking for vegan soup that doesn’t contain sugar, and here it is! I can read all the ingredients and it only has 100 calories per serving.

Purely Elizabeth Cranberry Pecan Granola + Puffs Cereal

Our salty-sweet, crunchy granola clusters, chewy cranberries, and roasted pecans blend with unsweetened millet puffs to create the perfect flavor and texture balance for your breakfast bowl.

Eeek! Was I not just talking about my love for breakfast foods and how comforting I find them! And here we have an awesome little cereal cup. They really did think of everything this month.

Vegan Cuts Snack Box Review March 2017 – Final Thoughts

This month’s Vegan Cuts Snack Box is amazing! I’m tempted to say I like it more than last months box. We received snacks, beverages, something for breakfast, something for lunch and something for dinner. I absolutely love the product mix this month, and I love that we received another snack from Vegan Robs! Can they please include that brand every month! This box will definitely be going on the March Favourites List. For all my Vegan readers out there, you NEED this subscription in your life!

XOXO
