We Craft Box Review June 2019

We Craft Box is a monthly subscription box for children and parents that delivers all the supplies that you need, except scissors and water, so that you can create 4-5 craft projects with your kids without leaving your home. They kindly sent us this box for review.

Each box starts at $29.99 with free shipping in the US.

We Craft Box is a perfect subscription box for moms and dads of little kids that really want to craft and create with them and don’t always have the time to go shopping for supplies. I can’t remember the last time I went to Michaels by myself or with the kids, and it’s always cut short if I go with them.

As soon as you open the box you can find the pamphlet with the project instructions and step by step photos and a story to read with your kids that ties in to the theme of the month.

June’s We Craft Box theme was the Ocean and the story was fun and engaging for my boys. It was about a stolen necklace and my son even made a magnifying glass to look for it in the ocean!

What we got in the June We Craft Box:

  • Markers
  • Sequin cup containing ocean themed confetti and sequins
  • Foam shapes to make the crab hats
  • Plastic eyes
  • Pipe cleaners
  • Pluffy
  • Plastic knife
  • Sea shells
  • Whale and sea horse die cut shapes
  • Glue stick
  • Tissue paper
  • Cupcake cups
  • Sponge pieces
  • Ocean themed poster
Crab Hats

The first project was making these cute crab hats! How original is this? There’s usually one project to make that includes a wearable item and this was so stinking cute!

Sea Shell Necklaces

For this craft we received different sizes of sea shells, pipe cleaners, a plastic knife to cut the Pluffy (clay that never dries out and you have to bake it). We haven’t done this craft yet but I am looking forward to it.

Bilbo the Birthday Whale

Another project was coloring and collaging a whale cut out, using markers, tissue paper and confetti.

Shelly the Fancy Seahorse

Shelly the fancy seahorse is another character in the story and we got to do her up with cupcake cups, markers, sequins.

Fabulous Ocean Poster

This was a huge poster with an ocean setting that had octopuses, turtles, fish, Shelly, Bilbo and many more friends. For this we used pieces of sponge to water down the markers, the sequins pack, tissue paper, cupcake cups and any scraps we found in the box! The kids went all out! They really enjoyed these activities so much!

We Craft Box Review June 2019 – Final Thoughts

Another great box by We Craft Box. I don’t know where they get all these ideas but they’re awesome, original and wholesome. I love having an alternative to electronics and tv and having projects for my kids that allows them to get creative and messy!
