White Willow Box Review June 2017
White Willow Box is Canada’s leading lifestyle subscription box for women with a stylish flare shipping across Canada and the US. Every two months you will receive four to five full-sized and sample products valued at over $70. They kindly sent us this box for review.
When pretty boxes show up in the mail you don’t open them right away, as hard as that may be. You save them for the weekend (preferably a Sunday) and you give them the proper unboxing they deserve. You wake up early, put on a comfy outfit, make a cup of coffee, and get to it……..
You should all be familiar with White Willow Box by now, but if you aren’t, here’s the lowdown:

Here’s a closer look at the June box:
Cotton Turkish Towel by Turkish Towel Store ($44)
These authentic Turkish towel peshtemals are composed of ecru vintage thin stripes. They are 100% cotton, highly absorbent, fast-drying, eco-friendly, versatile, lightweight and made in Turkey. Subscribers could have received 1 of 8 different colours.
Super excited to see this in the box! I was just looking at Turkish Towels the other day. I absolutely love these. They are beautiful, perfect for a Summer box, and so versatile. I want one in every color!! This item is going to go over very well with subscribers!
Just Peachy Iced Tea Blend by for Tea’s Sake ($17)
For Tea’s Sake Just Peachy Loose Leaf Iced Tea Blend. A timeless classic among tea lovers, peach tea is a natural choice for a refreshing drink to share with friends on a sunny afternoon. Subtle notes of pineapple and papaya only serve to enhance the experience.
Another great item for a summer box. I will definitely be enjoying this cold. They recommend adding a little sugar and garnishing with fruit (lemons, strawberries, watermelon, orange, peach and mint). I think I need to go purchase a really gorgeous glass pitcher so I can keep a jug of iced tea in the fridge for the next couple months. I try to drink as much water as possible each day and this will be a nice alternative.
Tea Filter Bags by For Tea’s Sake ($6)
A convenient way to steep your favorite For Tea’s Sake blends on the go! Following the steeping instructions for an individual serving on the tea tin, simply add the loose leaf blend to the sachet and add hot water. Includes 50 one-time-use sachet filters.
I love that they included these. You all know how I feel about receiving tea in subscription boxes. I absolutely love it, but if its loose leaf I definitely want to see tea filters in the box as well.
Coconut Body Wash by Scentuals Natural & Organic Skincare ($14.95)
Our 100% natural handmade, sulphate and paraben-free body wash is handcrafted with Organic Argan and Coconut Oils to gently cleanse, hydrate and protect skin. Coconut lends its beautiful light sweet aroma to every rejuvenating cleansing experience.
This smells absolutely amazing. Just like the beach!! The June White Willow Box definitely has a Summer vibe and I am loving it. This wash is made in Canada, it’s paraben free, and it is going in my shower basket ASAP.
Fresh Roll-On Perfume by Cheri Arome Natural Skincare ($8.99)
A natural way to smell great with this roll-on perfume! The fresh scent has a hint of cucumber, watermelon, and cantaloupe. Use the roller ball to apply the blend to pressure points – those typically mentioned are wrists, behind the ear lopes, and various locations on the face.
I am a HUGE fan of this fragrance. It smells like Summer. I can definitely pick up the cucumber and watermelon scents. It’s fresh and fruity at the same time.
Oval Platter ($16)
Conveniently sized for serving, this stoneware oval platter is hand-painted in a casual nautical style, suitable for everyday use especially summer gatherings.
White Willow Box always manages to find the most beautiful home decor items. I’m not exactly sure how I want to use this platter, but it’s certainly not meant to be stored in the cupboard. It needs to be out on display.
White Willow Box Review June 2017 – Final Thoughts
White Willow Box did a lovely job with the June box. This is exactly what I would expect to see in a Summer box. I wouldn’t change a thing. The Turkish Towel was a wonderful idea. Not only is it on trend but it is a Summer essential. They round out the box nicely with peach tea, and a beach scented shower gel. The serving platter is gorgeous, but I’ve come to expect nothing less. I will get use out of every single product included in this months box. White Willow Box could be classified as the most giftable subscription box on the market. I would be absolutely thrilled to receive this as a gift. They continue to impress me with every single box. I am their biggest fan!
