White Willow Box is Canada’s leading lifestyle subscription box for women with a stylish flare shipping across Canada and the US. Every two months you will receive four to five full-sized and sample products valued at over $70. They kindly sent us this box for review.
I can count on my hand the number of boxes I have/will gift to friends and White Willow Box is one of them. Come to think of it, White Willow Box is probably the box I have gifted more than any other box I receive. Meaning, I consider this subscription gorgeous enough to gift in its entirety. It’s packaged in a way that allows you to hand it over as is. Simply take it out of the brown mailing box and you have a beautiful gift ready to go. Here’s a closer look at the items we received in the June box…..
Cucumber Martini Eye Serum by Entyze ($19.50)
Cucumber Martini Eye Serum is an instantly cooling rollerball which helps massage away bags, hydrates puffy eyes on contact, removes dark circles, prevents wrinkles, moisturizes and tightens the skin to naturally slow down the signs of aging.
Directions : Use twice a day, both morning and night. Using gentle pressure, roll under each eye, from inner corner to outer corner twice. Use your finger to smooth in any excess until completely absorbed. For best results leave the serum in the refrigerator.
Our first item in the June box is an item I love to receive! Eye products are a must for me. It’s my problem area so I really look forward to testing out new serums, creams or oils made specifically for the eye area. I like that this one is a roll-on and that you can cool it in the fridge prior to use. What a great way to freshen up after a night out.
Natural Coconut Deodorant by Earth Luxe ($11.95)
Earth Luxe Natural Coconut Deodorant is an exclusively formulated deodorant made with all naturally derived ingredients and is Aluminum, Paraben and Propylene Glycol free. With the refreshing scent and properties of Coconut Oil, it provides protection against odor and keeps you feeling dry. Made in Canada.
Next up we have another item I love to receive. Natural deodorant is one of the items I struggle with most but one of the items I NEED the most. I try to stay away from regular deodorant as much as possible but finding a natural deodorant that actually works is pretty darn tough. I look forward to seeing if this one will accomplish the task at hand.
Pink Clay Massage Soap with Sea Salts by Cheri Arome ($8.99)
While Rose/Pink clay is beneficial to all skin types, it is especially beneficial to mature and sensitive skin types. With excellent hydration properties, this clay will help to improve overall skin texture without being too drawing.
Pink clay massage soap helps to slough off dead skin and boost blood circulation. Himalayan salt and sea salt improve mineral status of the body, cleanse pores deeply and thwart bacteria that can instigate breakouts and acne. Simply massage in circular motion on wet skin.
How gorgeous is this massage bar? As much as I want to use it, I also want to display it. I love the color, I love the ingredients and I love the brand. I’ve been fortunate enough to test out a few products from the Cheri Arome line and have been happy with all of them.
Set of 4 Bon Vivant European Linen Placemats by Abbott Collection ($42)
Abbott Collection’s Bon Vibant linen items are made from European-grown flax fibres, making them a premium linen fabric. These super soft and versatile placemats with ball trim detailing and their beautiful pastel colors make the perfect table accent for Summer patio parties, formal dinners, casual get-togethers or simple everyday use.
I am beyond thrilled to see such a gorgeous home decor item in the box this month. Subscribers could have received 1 of 5 different colors – Lilac, Grey, Sky Blue, Ecru or Blush. The color I received couldn’t be more perfect. These beautiful placemats will match my current decor perfectly and can be used a number of different ways – on the kitchen table, under a vase of flowers, on the coffee table, or maybe even my side table. I love them.
Orange Blossom Marmalade by Le Meadow’s Pantry ($11)
Le Meadow’s Pantry is a small-batch preserving company specializing in marmalade. We make over 60 varieties of all-natural shelf-stable jam and marmalades, using mostly local fruit, and cooked by hand.
Our artisan marmalades are made with high quality citrus and we use a traditional three-day technique. The fruit is hand-cut, and we use fresh lemon juice, non-GMO pure cane sugar, and no pectin or preservatives are added. This labour-intensive process is what gives our marmalades their rich and balanced flavour. Once open, they should be refrigerated and consumed within six months.
There’s something really nice about artisan food items. They always feel like a special treat. One I usually end up saving for a special occasion or for company. I love to have items like this on hand for weekend guests as we usually end up making Sunday breakfast complete with toast, eggs, ham and fruit. This marmalade will be saved for one of those occasions.
White Willow Box Review June 2018 – Final Thoughts
As per usual, White Will Box has put together a beautiful box. I feel like I say the same thing every time I review this subscription. I apologize for being broken record, but I can’t help be reiterate the fact that White Willow Box is gorgeous from beginning to end. The June box provided me with 5 gorgeous, but useful items. The eye serum is already in my makeup bag, the marmalade will be enjoyed next time we have company over, as will the placemats, the deodorant is something I look forward to testing, and the massage bar will either be enjoyed in the shower or put on display. A beautiful box full of beautiful items. A box to be treasured and enjoyed…….now and for months to come.
