White Willow Box Review October 2018
White Willow Box is Canada’s leading lifestyle subscription box for women with a stylish flare shipping across Canada and the US. Every two months you will receive four to five full-sized and sample products valued at over $70. They kindly sent us this box for review.
White Willow Box is one of my favourite Canadian subscription boxes, but I probably tell you that every single time I review it. I probably also tell you how gorgeous the packaging is and what an amazing gift it would make. But……those details are important and worth mentioning over and over again……don’t you think?

Here’s a closer look at the items we received in the October box…..
Nayelle Gentle Exfoliating Glacial Facial Cleanser ($27)
CLEANSE Facial Cleanser is uniquely enriched with gentle exfoliating bamboo and rich minerals from natural glacial oceanic clay. These special ingredients assist in the gentle removal of dry facial skin cells that leave a dull appearance. The bamboo and clay also stimulate the skin, improving its circulation and increase its metabolic process and regeneration.
CLEANSE is a mild cleansing cream that gently cleanses the skin off makeup and environmental pollutants. It has been tested in an independent study to be gentle and non-irritating. Like all our products, it is suitable for all skin types. It works well to remove mascara without the use of harsh eye makeup remover that typically has toxic propylene glycol. Use CLEANSE daily as part of your daily routine to reveal clean, fresh, baby soft skin.
This is a brand I have never seen in White Willow Box before. I’m glad to see something new. It’s nice to receive skincare products as it allows you test them out and see if they work for your skin type.
Canvas Candle Company Gold Tin Candle ($16)
Pumpkin Chai is a twist on the, oh so basic, Pumpkin Spice! Get cozy and enjoy this through the cold winter months. Featuring a blend of pumpkin, coffee, clove and cinnamon.
Subscribers could have received 1 of 3 different scents:
- Pumpkin Chai
- Apple Spice
- Woodland
I received Pumpkin Chai, but now that I see the other scents I kind of want them all. This is easily my favorite item in the box. I will NEVER get sick of receiving seasonal candles.
MIFA & Co. Calendula Milk Bath Soak ($3.50)
MIFA’s 100% natural oatmeal bath soak, CALENDULA MILK, is made with high quality organic ingredients to soothe, hydrate, and cleanse your skin. This silky soothing bath soak is gentle yet powerful, making it great for both adults and little ones. All of our bath soaks are 100% plant based.
We enriched this oatmeal bath soak with two skin loving herbs calendula and chamomile. All the ingredients in our soak have been used throughout history to treat skin ailments and promote healthy glowing skin.
This is a nice item to receive in a Fall box. The weather is starting to change and the air is quite cold in the morning…..and in the evening. This is a nice little excuse to get warm and cozy in a bath. Light your candle and snack on the yummy treats, also included in the box, and you have yourself a nice little spa night.
Rectangular Decorative Picture Frame ($31)
Display fond memories with this picture frame with modern yet luxurious gold detailing. This unique rectangular frame comes with golden brass border for a contemporary look with black velvet back. Showcase a favourite picture in the 5×7 aperture. This item also makes a great gift for any occasion.
White Willow Box never disappoints me when it comes to the home decor items they curate in each box. As per usual, this piece is gorgeous and will complement most decor schemes.
Salted Truffle Gable Box by Brockman’s Chocolate ($8)
Using only premium natural ingredients, Brockmann’s Salted Gable Box collection features two delicious Truffini flavours: Dark Sea Salt, and Salted Caramel Truffles. Their recipes are guided by the creative mind of Norbert Brockmann, a master chocolatier with over 50 years of experience and family recipes.
Lastly we have a yummy box of truffles. It’s about this time of year when I start to crave chocolate treats so these arrived at the perfect time.
White Willow Box Review October 2018 – Final Thoughts
The October White Willow Box is absolutely lovely. I am more than happy with all the products we received. As per usual we have great value and a nice selection of items. The scented candle and chocolate truffles give it a Fall vibe and the home decor item will be gorgeous in my office but it would also make a beautiful hostess gift as we head into the giving season. I say this every year around this time, but White Willow Boxes make the BEST Christmas gift……hands down!
