Your Bijoux Box Review February 2016
I’m always excited to receive my Your Bijoux Box, but I was more excited than usual to receive the February box. You will see why below, but basically they decided to mix things up a bit this month and include something in the box they don’t normally include. I absolutely love it when subscription boxes do this. The whole point of a subscription box is to receive a “surprise” in the mail, so obviously it makes it more exciting when the surprise is a surprise, does that even make sense? Any who…..I LOVE this month’s box!!
If you aren’t familiar with Your Bijoux Box it is a monthly subscription box containing 3 pieces of jewelry, hand curated by Shana. The jewelry they select is on-trend, versatile and wearable, and you will receive at least $100 worth of jewelry each month. Your Bijoux Box did something a little different this month and decided to include their very first watch. I think this was a great idea on their part and hope to see more watches in future boxes. As I mentioned above, I love it when subscription boxes add in a little unexpected fun……and I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one who feels that way.
Rose Gold Boyfriend Watch – I rarely receive watches in my subscription boxes and I’m a HUGE fan of receiving anything I don’t typically receive. It not only adds value to the box but it mixes things up.
Frost Flower Collar Necklace – I absolutely love everything this necklace has going on. It’s pretty, thanks to the flower design, dual-tone, which makes it easy to wear with gold and/or silver, and it’s simple but blingy at the same time. I wore it out to do errands today and had 3 people compliment me on it.
Ruby Bow Earrings – How flippin’ cute are these little red earrings. They are perfect for Valentine’s Day and I just might be wearing them as we speak. If I wasn’t such a chicken when it comes to taking close up photos of my face I would show you how they look on……for now you are just going to have to take my word for it.
XO Earrings – As if I didn’t love this box enough already, then they go in and do something cute like throwing in an extra pair of earrings as a Valentine’s Day present to their subscribers. I have a feeling I will be wearing these a lot.
Thoughts: Your Bijoux Box nailed it this month…….but don’t they always! Not only did they include an item we don’t typically see in their monthly box (the watch) but they also included a fun little bonus item. I strongly feel that these two things (the unexpected, and a bonus) are what makes a successful subscription box even more successful. I feel like this might be my favourite box from Your Bijoux Box but I also have a feeling I said that last month……regardless, I LOVE IT!
