Here’s a closer look at the items I received this month….

The theme for November’s box is Green Goodness Pack! In this box you’ll notice both vegetable-inspired snacks and goodies that are green in color. You’ll find melon flavored candies, edamame chips, matcha flavored cookies, and more!

Included in every box is a mini flyer with details, descriptions, and instructions for each item. ZenPop makes note of key ingredients that some people tend to have allergies to or other ingredients used in the facilities that processes the items. This is so considerate of ZenPop and I really appreciate them going this extra mile for people who may have food allergies.

Vegetable Tan-men (Left)

The Vegetable Tan-men features a delicious and hearty vegetable broth that tasted like sweet corn and miso. There are stir-fried vegetables on top, like lettuce, corn and carrots, which adds freshness to the meal. I personally like meat in my ramen, so I added some chicken to mine, but this tasted good on its own too.

Vegetable Curry Ramen (Right)

I love eating curry and this ramen cup was delicious. It’s a simple instant ramen – just add water and wait 3 minutes for it to be ready. The soup itself was very flavorful and I liked how there were also vegetables like lettuce, corn, and carrots in the soup. It had the perfect amount of spice that made me slurp it all up.

Melon Soda Sours

These lime green rectangular gummies are coated in tiny sugar crystals and taste just like real melon soda. It’s not very “sour”, but rather sweet. They’re yummy, but are pretty tough to chew on for a gummy.

Tomato Pretz

Tomato Pretz are a classic and one of my favorites from this month’s box. If you’ve never had Pretz, they’re skinny pretzel biscuit sticks that are crispy and delicious. This particular flavor was coated in a tomato seasoning that tasted like sundried tomatoes and herbs.

CRATZ Edamame

My favorite snack of the box were these CRATZ Edamame crackers. The bag contains a mixture of  cylindrical edamame crackers and roasted almonds. The crackers were so crunchy and savory in flavor that my sister and I finished the bag in a few minutes and immediately wanted more! These are advertised to be paired with beer, but I ate them alone and they were still delicious!

Salted Peas Chips

These Salted Peas Chips tasted baked because of the high crunch and minimal amount of oil in the chips. They were super crispy, slightly salty, and the light texture made them addicting.

Sapporo Potato Tsubu Tsubu Vegetable Chips

The Sapporo Potato Tsubu Tsubu Vegetable Chips are ones I’ve tasted previously (in a different box) and loved. They resemble thin french fries, but they have spots of red and green in them from the vegetables. They tasted like normal chips to me, but a slightly healthier alternative.

Sakusaku Panda Strawberry Cookies

The Sakusaku Panda Strawberry Cookies come with a bare biscuit back on one side and a fully coated front side that’s covered in a strawberry cream. Each biscuit is in the face of a panda and there are plenty of different kawaii panda expressions on each one. It’s such a cute snack, that tasted a little tart (like real strawberries).

Petit Matcha Cookies

This pack of cookies comes with miniature (hence the name “petit”) cookies made of matcha flavored shortbread and dark chocolate chips. Surprisingly, these tasted very similar to real matcha which has a creamy, but earthy flavor. It complements the dark chocolate chips very well!

Chocolate Pie

The Chocolate Pie is a flaky pastry biscuit with a sweet honey glazed top. The soft layers of the biscuit were very light and airy making it melt in my mouth. Plus, the center was filled with a rich and decadent chocolate cream that made this easy to devour in seconds!

ZenPop Ramen + Sweets Mix Pack Review November 2018 – Final Thoughts

I really enjoyed the “green” theme this month and the inclusion of vegetable-themed snacks, as well as yummy snacks that are green in color! ZenPop did a great job again this month by selecting items that add a nice contrast with both sweet and savory snacks. Though I liked everything I tasted this month, my favorite items are definitely the CRATZ Edamame crackers and the Tomato Pretz. My sister and I immediately went online and tried to order more bags of both of these!
