ElleBox Review March 2017

ElleBox is a premium Time of the Month Subscription Box which bundles your choice of tampons and pads with hand curated comfort and wellness goods to make that time of the month a little more pleasant – LOVE IT!! They kindly sent us this box to review.

I am playing catch-up with my ElleBox reviews this month, and that is more than ok with me. Having received two ElleBoxes back-to-back is making me feel like it is Christmas. I LOVE ElleBox!

I went over the subscription details in the last post (CLICK HERE) so this month we are getting straight into the goods. Here’s a look at the items I received in my March 2017 ElleBox:

The Necessities – Tampons, Pads, Liners

Last month I received a mixture of super and regular tampons. This month I received tampons and pads. You get to choose what you would like to receive. I simply receive a mixture because this is a review box. But….with that being said, I actually like to receive pads every few months. I use them, but not as often as I use tampons, so I like to have a few on hand.

Sealuxe Activated Charcoal Soap

Sealuxe makes natural and sustainable body care products that are infused with beneficial elements of the ocean including sea salts, sea muds, and seven different seaweeds. This Activated Charcoal Soap Bar is deep cleaning and an acne saviour.

This is my favourite brand of soap right now. Truly, it is. I have a bar beside my bathroom sink as we speak. I’m yet to try the charcoal soap, but am really excited about it. Activated charcoal is all the rage right now, and for good reason.

Sealuxe Eco-Soy Candle

Packed in a nostalgic rustic tin, one might imagine finding while beach combing along the Pacific Northwest coastline. Sealuxe’s line of candles are made with a blend of coconut and eco-soy wax. They run clean and are scented with pure essential oils.

How cool is this tin!! I am in love with the rustic vibe it has going on. This will come in handy for my “time of the month” baths I’ve started taking. They are the best way to battle cramps and perk yourself up on your “bad” day. I always have one really “bad” day during my period.

Tea by Tea Sparrow

Tea is my jam right now. I am obsessed with it. I make a pot every afternoon, and sometimes in the evening. I find it very comforting. And as I have mentioned before, Tea Sparrow is one of my favourite tea brands.

Hagensborg Chocolate

So, have you tried this chocolate yet! Really, you need to get on top of that ASAP. This chocolate is to die for!! I know good chocolate when I taste it, and this is AH-Mazing chocolate. This month I received Dark Hazelenut. So far my favourite has been the Peanut Butter Truffle. This little bar is bound to make any girl feel better during her special time. It’s 10-times better with wine!

ElleBox Review March 2017 – Final Thoughts

ElleBox is simply amazing. I love the simplicity of this box. They often include the same kind of items, but I really don’t mind. I like the consistency, and I like that I know what to expect each month. They mix up the chocolate brands and flavours from time to time, and include slightly different comfort products, but for the most part it is the same. When it comes to Time of the Month Subscription Boxes I think this is a great model. There are certain items I want each month, so why mess with the line-up – chocolate, tea, tampons, candles and bath products. That’s all I need. ElleBox has got this down to a science!

ElleBox is your monthly subscription of organic pads and tampons along with a few extra treats to make your period  a little more enjoyable.
