Subscription Details

Luxe Box was one of the first subscription boxes in Canada. They have been around for a while now, and we’ve had the opportunity to review the box consistently for the past couple years. It went through a little rough patch but those days are long gone as the last few boxes have been wonderful.

It is $26 per box and they ship quarterly.

Here’s a look at the items we received in the Summer 2017 Luxe Box:

Manna Kadar Blush

By popular demand, the Paradise Blush was taken from the Day Dream Palette and was created as an individual blush. The vivid cherry blossom pink powder blush creates a beautiful glow to the face.

Manna Kadar is a popular brand when it comes to beauty subscription boxes. They have been popping up all over the place lately, and as a result I’ve had the opportunity to test out a few of their products. I was excited to see that we received blush this time because I happen to LOVE Manna Kadar blush, but sadly mine is broken.

Belif The True Cream

With Napiers aqua formula containing Ladys Mantle, often called a woman’s hydrating herb, this refreshing gel cream supplies instant moisture to the skin while forming a protective layer that wraps the skin in comfort.

This is a new brand for me so I did a little research and found out that it receives rave reviews. I wasn’t able to find a ton of reviews, but the few that I did find claimed that it is extremely moisturizing and provides great results.

Avry Beauty Jelly Spa Bath & Dilution Mineral

The ultimate spa pedicure experience for relaxation using heat therapy which soothes aching joints and muscles. Jelly Bath is FREE of harmful chemicals or preservatives and is fully biodegradable.

This is SO fun!! I need this right about now. It has been a long week, work has been crazy, and I haven’t been sleeping well. Therefore, I am SUPER excited to test out this foot soak. You fill your foot bath, sprinkle with step 1, the water turns to jelly, you soak your feet, then add step 2 to dilute the jelly and soak your feet some more. Would it be weird if I did this while I blogged?

China Glaze – Kill The Lights

I think this just might be the best polish color I have ever received!!! I love that it is a mix between pastel and jewel tones. The color couldn’t be any more perfect.

Cake The Do Gooder

Instantly renew your hair and leave it feeling clean, revived and volumized. By adding supernatural ingredients and leaving zero white residue, this dry shampoo transforms humdrum second-day hair into bombshell hair, without the harsh chemicals. Give your busiest mornings a revamp – no water required. The superb scent: Warm vanilla, caramelized sugar and a gorgeous hit of lemon. There is simply no one (no one) who doesn’t swoon over it. Get ready for compliments.

I only wash my hair every 3-4 days so I need to have dry shampoo in the bathroom cupboard at all times. I like that this one is made without harsh chemicals. I also really like the way it smells.

Sweet Suds Co Soap

I wasn’t really able to find too much info on this particular product and that makes me kind of sad because it is so much fun. I want to know what scent it is, what it’s made of, etc….. It’s obviously some sort of soap……but I would love the facts.

Medusa’s Make-Up Witch Lash

Lengthening & Volumizing Mascara w/ flexible rubber brush. Cruelty-free and vegan!!

I am so excited about this particular item. I am always looking for vegan cosmetics and love testing out new mascara. I jumped on the Medusa’s Make-Up website prior to writing this review and was excited to discover that they have their own subscription box. I need that in my life ASAP!! It is $15.95 per month and includes 3-5 full size vegan products.

Laritzy Lip Pencil

These incredibly creamy lip pencils are infused with plant oils and waxes to moisturize and protect your lips all day. Wear it alone or under lipstick or lip gloss!

These lip pencils have been popping up all over the place lately….just like the Manna Kadar products. I recently received them in another subscription box and am pretty sure I received one last month as well. Laritzy use to have their own subscription box and now they are a cosmetics line.

Luxe Box Review Summer 2017 – Final Thoughts

First of all, can we talk about the new Luxe Box packaging? It is gorgeous! I like it WAY more than the old packaging. It actually caught me off guard. I had no clue what box this was when I picked it up from the post office. It’s clean, classy and oh so pretty. And in regards to the products we received this season….I love them!! I will be using all of them with the exception of the lip pencil, as it is too bright, and the blush since it is broken. If my blush was intact I would be absolutely ecstatic right now and would be tempted to say that this is one of my favourite boxes thus far. Luxe Box is quickly becoming my go-to beauty box……now if they could just get their customer service straightened out all would be good in the world.

XOXO
