Mommy Mailbox Review June 2017
Mommy Mailbox is a monthly gift that uplifts and rewards motherhood. Each box is curated by a different guest blogger, who shares a piece of her style with you by including her favorite goodies. Items are a mix of fashion, gourmet food, fitness, art, home décor and beauty. They kindly sent us this box for review.
I was just having a look back at all the Mommy Mailbox reviews I have done so far, and I have to say, this box is pretty darn awesome. I sometimes forget how great it is. There has really only been one box that wasn’t my style, other than that I have loved them all.
Here’s a closer look at the June box…..
June Theme – Vacation
Our feature blogger for June is Lisa Fitch, a proud Air Force wife and full-time mama to 3 adorable boys. Lisa is also a fashion & beauty blogger for her blog – That’s So Darling. She loves sharing inspiration and advice with all her fellow mamas out there. Lisa is perfect for our June box as it is full of items for Vacation and her blog is full of great ideas for Summer fun. Even if you aren’t going anywhere exotic, June is the time to be pool-side.
Nail Polish by Modish Polish
5-free, vegan friendly, gluten-free and cruelty-free. These nail lacquer cremes are formulated to be fast drying and chip resistant, for a slick manicure that sticks around.
Oh my goodness! This polish is amazing. Not only do I love this brand, but this color is to die for. This is the perfect Summer yellow…..not too bright and not too pale. I need this color on my toes ASAP.
Swimsuit Coverup by La Leela
This swimsuit coverup can be worn two different ways and is a great item to throw in the beach bag for hanging out post-swim.
Such a fun idea for a Summer box. I certainly wasn’t expecting to see a fashion accessory like this in the box. My love for Mommy Mailbox is at an all-time high right now. The June box is off to a great start!
Luggage Tag – Mommy Mailbox Exclusive
A fun luggage tag for your carry-on, suitcase or beach bag. Vacay time!
I’ve received a few luggage tags in my subscription boxes over the years, and a majority of them were on the cheap side. This one is cute and girly and doesn’t look cheap at all. I would definitely use this on my suitcase.
Lariat Necklace by Stash Selection
A simple and delicate gold chain lariat necklace that you can wear with anything.
I love Mommy Mailbox for the simple fact that they include jewelry in the box a majority of the time. This month’s piece is absolutely gorgeous. I love that it is gold, I love the simplicity, and I love the lariat style. They nailed it with this one.
Caramels by McCrea’s Candies
These caramels are in McCrea’s best-selling Black Lava Sea Salt flavour, and they are amazing.
I was literally just talking about my love for caramels the other day. They are the perfect little treat and a great addition to any subscription box. I love that they included these.
Lip Pencil by LaRitzy
These incredibly creamy and pigmented lip pencils are infused with plant oils and waxes to moisturize and protect your lips all day. Wear it alone or under lipstick or lip gloss.
I like that Mommy Mailbox included a makeup product in the June box, but I just would have been happier with a different brand. I have received a ton of LaRitzy lip pencils over the last two months. I feel like they are popping up everywhere. At the same time, I do love the LaRitzy brand, and I love receiving makeup items, I just would have liked for them to include a different product from the LaRitzy cosmetics line.
Mommy Mailbox Review June 2017 – Final Thoughts
Wow! What an absolutely wonderful box! Mommy Mailbox did an amazing job with the June box. The curation is perfect. We received 6 items, all of which I am excited to use. Yes, I would have liked to see a different LaRitzy product, but this is coming from someone who receives 100’s of sub boxes each month. Most of Mommy Mailbox’s subscribers probably haven’t been introduced to LaRitzy lip pencils yet, so it won’t be a repeat product for them. On the whole, this is my favourite Mommy Mailbox to date. Keep up the great work ladies!!
