PolishMe Polish Club Review May 2017

PolishMe Polish Club is your mani/pedi’s new best friend! For $19.99 a month, you get 3 exclusive nail polishes delivered right to your door. Each collection is personally designed and no month will be the same. The polishes are quick-drying and work perfectly on natural or acrylic nails. They kindly sent us this box for review.

It’s safe to say I am a HUGE fan of LiveGlam and all the awesome subscription boxes they offer. PolishMe is one of three boxes on their roster. They also have MorpheMe Brush Club and KissMe Lipstick Club.

Some good news about PolishMe products:

Nail polishes sometimes contain ingredients that can be harmful to us if our bodies absorb them through our fingernails or toenails (nails can be very porous especially when they’re damp).  We pride ourselves on the fact that our Laura G PolishMe polishes are free of the most harmful of these toxins.  5-Free means the polish contains no Toluene, Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde Resin, Camphor, or Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP).  7-Free means the polish contains none of those 5 toxins as well as Triphenyl Phosphate (TPHP) or Xylene.  Big, science-y words!  But a very good thing that our polishes are free of them!

Here’s a look at the colors we received for May:

May Theme – Girls Getaway

Because we are so over due for a getaway! We’ve picked three of our fave vacay destinations, but we can’t seem to “makeup” our minds. They’re all so perfect!

Pretty in Paris

It will be love at first sight! You’ll be completely obsessed with this bright, cherry color after just one coat. It also provides an awesome, glossy sheen which makes it a great color for your next pedi!

This is a really fun color for Summer. It’s super bright and has a hint of pink.

Santorini Blue

Go bold, or stay home! This is a vibrant, royal blue that is a must-have for the sizzlin’ summer. It’s sexy and bright, so it definitely won’t have you feelin’ blue.

Dark blue is a color I am always drawn to when it comes to polish, but rarely wear. I need to be in the right mood for a shade like this. But I love it nonetheless.

Seychelle Sands

Who doesn’t like putting their toes in the warm sand? This silky, nude color has a soft shimmer to it that makes is super creamy and smooth. You can wear it alone if you want something subtle, and you can also layer it on top of a bold color.

This is my favourite of the three. I definitely prefer lighter shades to darker shades right now. But that’s just a personal preference. This will probably be the first one I test out.

PolishMe Polish Club Review May 2017 – Final Thoughts

It’d been a while since I had the chance to review a polish subscription box. I almost forgot how fun they are. I never purchase nail polish but like to have new colors on hand for my at-home pedicures. I am happy with the colors we received this month, with the Seychelles Sands being my favourite. I was happy to discover that PolishMe Polish Club colors are 7-free. I refuse to wear polish that contains any of the nasty ingredients, those formulas wreak havoc on my sensitive nails. I have a feeling LiveGlam is going to become one of the more popular subscription providers on the market. They are one to keep an eye on.
