S&G Beauty Box Review November 2016
S&G Beauty Box Review November 2016
Last month I got to review S&G Beauty Box for the very first time, and let me tell you, I was impressed. There’s definitely no shortage of beauty boxes on the market, but when it comes to boxes focusing on natural beauty products we certainly don’t have as many to choose from. The October S&G Beauty Box included a really nice mixture of natural products, all of which I have been using on a regular basis. If that is the caliber of box we can expect to see on a regular basis then S&G will probably take spot in my top 10 beauty box list.

S&G Beauty Box ships in a cute little brown box. They package things nicely, and they include a product card. I am pointing these things out because I have come to appreciate a nicely packaged subscription box.
Ny’Ala Skin Care Coffee Under Eye Serum
Coffee Under Eye Serum is amazing for killing under eye circles and puffiness. To use, just shake it well and roll under each eye a few times, let it sit for a minute or two, then rub in! Perfect for those rough mornings when we all need that little extra bit of help looking fresh.
Well, isn’t this exciting. You all know I love eye products, and I love them even more when they are made with natural ingredients. I’ve heard of eye products that include coffee extract but I’ve never had the pleasure of trying them.
T. Lees Soap Co. Cucumber Lime Soap
Boasting a double dose of Aloe Vera, this soap will moisturize even the driest skin leaving it feeling soft, smooth and refreshed. Scented with a fresh and zesty blend of lime, bergamot and tea tree essential oils.
Soap is one of those items that is kind of boring but kind of not. It can go either way. Luckily this one contains one of my favourite ingredients for skin – tea tree oil. I also like that it claims to moisturize the driest skin.
ALTO Radiant Powder Blush by Hynt Beauty
The ultra-fine milled powders provide a hint of luminescence and a touch of color to the cheeks for a youthfully healthy but still sophisticated look. The silky-fine texture allows for easy blending, gradiated contouring and can soften expressions around the eye for a rejuvenated all around finish. Can be used to accentuate cheekbones, too!
Am I reading this right? This is a blush, but it will also contour, soften expressions around the eyes, and accentuate cheekbones? I am super intrigued. I actually took a quick little break from writing just to go try it out. I found that it adds just a little bit of color and shimmer, it is very subtle.
Libre Lip Gloss in Une Femme Mauve by Hynt Beauty
Formulated with organic oils and extracts, the deeply hydrating, lightweight vegan lip gloss is free of all things undesired. Delivering a dose of color that can go from day to night, LIBRE is also a great solution for women who find it challenging to find lip color that will not irritate their skin.
This color is absolutely gorgeous. I really, really love it. I tried it on as soon as I opened it and found that it adds just the right amount of color. It will be a nice every day gloss, a good one to keep in my purse.
S&G Beauty Box Review November 2016 – Final Thoughts
What a fun little box they put together this month. I love discovering new makeup brands, and so far I am a fan of Hynt Beauty. I like that they included two products from this brand, it will allow me to get a good feel for their makeup line. The gloss is gorgeous and the blush adds just the right amount of color. I’m testing the eye serum out as we speak so I can’t give you feedback on that one yet. But……the fact that I have already tested 3 of the products should tell you that I am extremely happy with this month’s box. It’s rare that I get use out of every item I receive in one particular box, and seeing as I am going to use the soap tonight when I remove my makeup means that I will have used/tested all 4 items. Loving this new subscription!
