Vegancuts Beauty Box Review September 2019
Vegancuts makes it simple to discover the best vegan products. Their experts search every corner of the cruelty-free world to uncover new vegan brands and meticulously review and select products that they can stand behind. They kindly sent us this box for review.
Vegancuts Beauty Box is a great way to discover new vegan products. As much as I love spending time browsing around the beauty department at my local health-food store, sometimes I just can’t fit it in, get overwhelmed, or don’t know where to start. I also like to be able to test out new vegan beauty products before purchasing the full-size version, and Vegancuts lets me do just that. It really is a great way to shop for vegan goods.
When you sign up for a Vegancuts subscription you have 3 options to choose from:
Beauty Box ($22.95): The Beauty Box is the easiest way to discover cruelty-free brands without committing to full-size products or prices. Each month they send 4-7 new products to try, ranging from unique cosmetics to luxurious skincare. Typically the contents of the monthly Beauty Box have a retail value of $50+.
Snack Box ($24.95): The Snack Box is great for people who like to try new snacks. Each month they send out a box that’s packed to the brim with 10 or more vegan snacks, ranging from chips to cookies and sodas to teas.
Makeup Box ($39.95): The Quarterly Vegan Makeup Box is an easy and affordable way to try full-size, cruelty-free & vegan makeup. Each quarter they’ll send you four or more new makeup products, ranging from lipstick to mascara to luxe nail lacquer.
Here’s a closer look at the September Vegancuts Beauty Box….
Dr. Botanicals Pomegranate Sleeping Mask
This is a no-fuss mask! Apply a thin layer onto clean, dry skin and allow to soak in while you sleep. Cleanse as normal in the morning.
I like the idea of a mask that you can leave on while you sleep. It allows all the wonderful ingredients to sink in to your skin and really get to work. I tried just a tiny bit on my hand and even though it wasn’t as thick as I was expecting it to be, it felt like it coated my skin in a nice layer of creamy moisture.
Pistache Body Butter
Pistachio oil is rich in antioxidants and has anti-aging properties.
This is the first time I have received a beauty product made with pistachio oil. I am very intrigued and I’m always happy to test out a new body butter as it is something I use on a daily basis.
Aura Cacia Shea Nut Oil
This can be used as a hair, body or massage oil. Add in a few drops of your favorite essential oils for added aromatherapy benefits.
This is the item I am most excited about. I am in need of a new body oil and this one is absolutely perfect. I like that I can add my own essential oils to make it scented. I’m thinking orange and vanilla.
Weleda Awakening Eye Cream
Use daily to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Weleda is one of the first brands I came across after becoming vegan. But I have to admit, I haven’t given it the attention it deserves. I’ve heard great things about all their products so I’m really looking forward to using this eye cream consistently over the next little while.
Himalaya USA Toothpaste
This toothpaste is free of fluoride, triclosan, sodium laurel sulphate and gluten.
I’m always looking for a good toothpaste, one that is fluoride free, and this one will be perfect for my travel bag.
Vegancuts Beauty Box Review September 2019 – Final Thoughts
I look forward to receiving my Vegancuts Beauty Box each month because it allows me to discover and test out new beauty products. This month I am looking forward to testing out the eye cream, the mask and definitely the oil. The product sizes are perfect as they will allow me to test the products out long enough to experience/see results and decide whether or not I want to purchase the full-size version. The Vegancuts Beauty Box is also a great reminder to pay more attention to the everyday items I use….. such as toothpaste.
